Aztec Products Launches New LFP Battery-Powered Floor Machines in Partnership with CRX E-Power
Aztec partners with CRX E-Power's battery electrification division to bring LFP lithium-ion battery power to two of its best-known floor machine models
PLEASANT PRARIE, WI, UNITED STATES, October 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Aztec Products, a family-owned American manufacturer of floor maintenance equipment, is expanding its lineup with the launch of two new LFP lithium battery-powered machines: the Sidewinder Sapphire and Lowrider Sapphire.
The Sidewinder Sapphire and Lowrider Sapphire will complement Aztec’s propane-powered machines—not replace them—giving contractors a genuine choice between propane and battery power based on the needs of each facility, including locations where the use of propane is restricted or prohibited.
The Sapphire machines are designed to expand the market for Aztec equipment by opening new opportunities in facilities where quieter operation and zero emissions are important considerations. With battery power, the machines offer a quieter, emission-free alternative.
The new machines were developed in partnership with CRX E-Power, the electrification division of CRX Power. The launch marks the first time Aztec has incorporated LFP battery technology into its product lineup and represents the first commercial launch for CRX E-Power outside of FNA Group’s own brands.
“Aztec has spent decades building equipment that contractors and distributors trust to get the job done quickly and efficiently,” said Whit Beverly, President of Aztec. “Adding a battery-powered option through CRX E-Power allows us to bring a similar level of performance to government, healthcare, education, casinos and other facilities that want to clean with maximum efficiency but cannot use propane-powered equipment.”
Both Sapphire models are designed to eliminate cords from the job site, operate more quietly and produce zero on-site emissions. Each machine features safe and reliable LFP Lithium battery technology, rapid charging and maintenance-free motors. The batteries are backed by an eight-year warranty.
The Sidewinder Sapphire is designed for high-productivity floor stripping, removing 7–10 layers of finish in a single pass at speeds of up to 12,000 square feet per hour. Like the propane-powered Sidewinder, the Sidewinder Sapphire can also be used with pads and a neutral cleaner for deep scrubbing, or with SPP pads and water for chemical-free, non-slip stripping.
The Lowrider Sapphire is designed for daily maintenance of VCT, polished concrete and terrazzo floors. It can burnish at speeds of up to 30,000 square feet per hour, nearly matching the productivity of its propane-powered counterpart. The swappable, quick-charge batteries provide functionally unlimited runtime, while its maintenance-free motor eliminates preventative maintenance and repairs. Plug-in charging eliminates the need for propane.
CRX E-Power supplies the full system behind the Sapphire equipment: the swappable LFP battery, motor, controller, display, wiring harness, charger, and the rest of the electrical architecture. It's a complete turnkey power system, with the same durability standards Aztec built its reputation on.
“CRX E-Power was created to give equipment manufacturers a true alternative to traditional power sources—not a compromise in performance,” said William Alexander, Co-President and Chief Commercial Officer of FNA Group. “Aztec understands its customers and its market better than anyone. We’re proud to provide the technology behind these machines, and this launch is just the beginning of what our two teams can build together.”
The Aztec Sidewinder Sapphire and Lowrider Sapphire are available now. More information is available online at www.aztecproducts.com or email sales@aztecproducts.com.
